Job description

Allergy Nurse Floater

ENT and Allergy Associates (ENTA), one of the nation's largest ENT, Allergy, and Audiology medical practices, is seeking a Full-Time Allergy Nurse Floater for our New Windsor, Middletown, Poughkeepsie, West Nyack, and Yorktown offices to join our dynamic team.

The Allergy Nurse role offers an opportunity to work with patients of all ages, encompassing a wide spectrum of care within our vibrant patient community. We offer a supportive work environment aimed at promoting professional growth and teamwork amongst health care providers.

Hourly:

  • LPN – $33.09/hr
  • RN – $40/hr
  • BSN – $42.68/hr

Responsibilities:

  • Administer allergy injections and monitor patients
  • Perform allergy testing (food, environmental, venom, drug and chemical testing)
  • Conduct pulmonary function testing
  • Assist physician with patient care
  • Complete administrative responsibilities including insurance approvals, data entry, restocking clinical supplies
  • Respond to patient calls and messages

Requirements include:

  • Active RN or LPN License (New grads welcome to apply)
  • BLS/CPR certification
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Competent working with computers

Schedule:

  • Monday 7:45am-5:00pm (New Windsor)
  • Tuesday: 7:45am-6:30pm (New Windsor)
  • Wednesday: 7:45am-4:30pm (Floating)
  • Thursday: 7:45am-5:00pm (New Windsor)
  • Friday: 8:00am-12:00pm (Floating)
  • Saturday (1-2 per month, when physician has hours) - 8:00am-12:00pm
