Job description

Job Title: Electrical design engineer 

Location: Menomonee falls, WI

Duration: Long Term

Job description:

  • This is for the team that makes custom test equipment
  • More focused on electrical design (Solidworks Electrical) than programming but need PLC programming (Allen Bradley) experience too
  • Participate in the development of new manufacturing equipment, integration, and improvement initiatives to support advanced manufacturing.
  • Collaborate with Advanced Manufacturing & Technology engineering staff and Operations PL's to ensure schedule attainment and provide robust documentation for machine development activities.
  • Design and develop machine electrical controls solutions, safety system integration, schematics development, and bill of material development.
  • Engage in panel building, wiring, programming, and commissioning activities.
  • Develop electrical schematics using CAD tools.
  • Integrate PLCs, HMIs, servo and VFD drives, industrial robots, machine vision systems, laser marking and welding, material handling systems, and safety systems.
  • Apply knowledge of NEC, NFPA 79, NFPA 70E, ANSI B11, and ANSI R15 standards.
  • Identify and utilize new technologies and controls strategies to develop leading-edge solutions.
  • Emphasize the use of Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs.
