Job description


The Truck Wash Technician / Detailer is responsible for cleaning and detailing commercial trucks and trailers, both interior and exterior, to ensure they meet company standards for appearance and hygiene. This position plays a critical role in maintaining our fleet's professional image and ensuring vehicle readiness.
  • Perform thorough cleaning of truck exteriors using power washers, brushes, and cleaning agents
  • Clean and sanitize truck interiors, including dashboards, windows, floors, and sleeper cabs
  • Inspect vehicles for cleanliness and report any damage or maintenance issues
  • Apply wax, polish, or protective finishes to truck surfaces as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of the wash bay and detailing area
  • Ensure proper use, care, and storage of cleaning equipment and chemicals
  • Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate PPE at all times
  • Maintain records of complete washes and detailing services
  • Assist with light shop or yard duties as needed

Experience and Skills
  • Prior experience in vehicle washing or detailing (preferred but not required)
  • Ability to work outdoors and in various weather conditions
  • Physically able to stand, bend, lift to 50 lbs., and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
  • Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
  • Valid driver's license (CDL a plus but not required)
  • Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English to follow instructions, complete paperwork, and communicate effectively with team members and supervisors

Work Schedule:
  • Monday - Friday, 1:30 PM - 10:30 PM
  • Occasional weekends and overtime as needed
