Job description

Industrial Controls Integration Engineer

The Opportunity:
Support fulllifecycle automation and control system projects for missioncritical energetics and explosives production facilities. Lead electrical and panel design, develop P&IDs, program PLC and HMI systems, commission new equipment, and provide inservice support for complex industrial systems. Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and apply your controls expertise to enhance safety, reliability, and performance in a unique and highimpact environment. This position is on-site and is located in Indian Head, MD.

You Have:

  • Experience with AutoCAD Electrical

  • Experience supporting the full lifecycle of controls projects from design to commissioning to sustainment

  • Ability to create and modify control system designs

  • Ability to work both independently and within multidisciplinary teams

  • Secret clearance

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, IT, or Automation and 4+ years of experience with Rockwell or AllenBradley or 8+ years of experience with Rockwell or AllenBradley in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with PlantPAx Distributed Control Systems

  • Experience with P&IDs and ISA 5.1 standards

  • Experience with SQL databases and reporting tools

  • Knowledge of industrial communication protocols, including EtherNet/IP or Modbus TCP

  • Knowledge of NFPA 79, NFPA 70E, and UL508A electrical standards

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles for industrial control systems

  • Possession of strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $77,600.00 to $176,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
