Job description

Perficient's Adobe practice holds a Platinum partnership and eight specializations, with 300 practitioners across the US, Latin America, and India. For two decades, we have built the digital experiences that healthcare, financial services, life sciences, automotive, manufacturing, and retail enterprises run their businesses on.
Perficient is an AI-native consulting firm, and the Adobe practice is where that gets tested first. Agentic orchestration is rewriting what enterprises buy from Adobe and what they expect from the partner who implements it. Our clients are asking a harder set of questions than they were a year ago, and they are asking us. Everything we recommend, we have already built in production. The next leader of this practice will define that operating model rather than inherit it.
Responsibilities
The leader we are looking for
You have run an Adobe business with a number attached to it. You have sold Adobe work, delivered it, and repaired programs someone else broke. Adobe field leadership takes your call, and so do the clients you have carried through hard quarters. You have built agentic delivery capability that clients pay for. You move between a forecast review and an architecture escalation without changing gears. You develop leaders, and you build client relationships that survive your departure.
What you will own
You run the entire practice. Every number it reports and every person in it.
Growth
  • Practice numbers and targets. Bookings, revenue, utilization, and growth targets for a global Adobe practice.
  • Our most consequential Adobe pursuits. You are the executive clients call when the stakes are highest.
  • The CX Enterprise Coworker capability, from zero to a business Adobe points clients toward.
  • The offering portfolio. Retire what the market has stopped buying and fund what replaces it.
  • Conversion of the Adobe alliance into pipeline. Adobe sellers need a commercial reason to lead with us.
  • Account growth alongside Perficient's AI-First Marketing, Salesforce, data, and commerce practices.

Delivery and financial discipline
  • Quality, delivery margin, and client satisfaction across an organization spanning three regions.
  • The recovery when a program goes red, including the client conversation nobody else wants to have.
  • Capacity planning against a forecast. Staff ahead of demand without carrying bench you cannot defend.
  • Rate integrity, discount discipline, pyramid mix, and subcontractor spend.
  • The investment case for anything that needs funding before it produces revenue.

People
  • Career paths for 300 practitioners, and the promotion decisions that make them real.
  • The skills transition from AEM delivery to agentic delivery, at the pace clients are moving.
  • Retention of the people this practice cannot afford to lose.
  • Recruitment and development of the Adobe leaders everyone else is chasing.

Market position
  • The definition of an AI-first Adobe practice, and the agenda the rest of the market follows.
  • Perficient's senior relationship to Adobe across field leadership, the partner organization, and product.
  • C-suite counsel on Adobe consolidation, migration, and total cost of ownership, delivered with enough candor to earn the next conversation.
  • The practice point of view. Publish it, present it at Summit, brief the analysts who define the category.

Qualifications
  • Seven or more years at the vice president, general manager, or practice lead level, with direct accountability for a revenue or bookings target.
  • Ten or more years in the Adobe ecosystem at a systems integrator, an agency, Adobe, or a large enterprise Adobe customer.
  • A record of carrying an annual target and hitting it, with ownership of utilization and delivery margin across a services business.
  • A services offering built from zero to material revenue, including the go-to-market motion behind it.
  • Generative or agentic AI running in production for enterprise clients, with results you can substantiate to a client CFO.
  • Active senior relationships inside Adobe field leadership or the partner organization, and a record of converting them into pipeline.
  • Delivery leadership across multiple geographies and time zones.
  • C-suite advisory experience on platform consolidation, migration, or total cost of ownership.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for client engagements, business development, and team leadership.
Preferred
  • Time inside Adobe itself, with a working read on how field leadership and the partner organization allocate attention.
  • Hands-on command of the agentic Adobe stack, including CX Enterprise Coworker, Agent Orchestrator, and GenStudio.
  • Adobe delivery inside a regulated industry, where legal and compliance review shapes the architecture.
  • An established market voice, whether a published point of view, an Adobe Summit stage, or standing analyst relationships at Forrester and Gartner.
  • Adobe sold alongside Salesforce, data, or commerce capability on the same account.
  • A record of recruiting senior talent into a practice that was still being built.
