Job description

Fields Land Rover of Lake Bluff is seeking a positive team member to join our dynamic dealership to provide a luxury experience for both our internal and external customers! Our goal is to provide the best customer experience and create life-long relationships. This position is in a new high-volume facility that's climate controlled.

Responsibilities
Workforce & Schedule Management
  • Direct departmental scheduling and monitor attendance to ensure optimal coverage.
  • Manage shift swaps and PTO requests in alignment with operational needs and labor policies.
  • Oversee accurate payroll submissions and administrative reporting.

Leadership & Team Development
  • Serve as the primary lead, providing daily mentorship, guidance, and training.
  • Foster a collaborative environment where team members feel supported and accountable.
  • Lead departmental meetings and act as the bridge between staff and upper management.

Operational Oversight
  • Implement safety protocols and identify areas for process improvement.
  • Manage departmental resources, supplies, and equipment.
  • Execute Quarterly Internal Warranty Audits and monitor key performance metrics.

Hiring & Compliance
  • Assist in the hiring, onboarding, and training of new talent.
  • Ensure all team actions comply with company policy and professional standards.

Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous experience in an Automotive Dealership and proficiency with CDK are required.
  • Jaguar/Land Rover experience is a plus!
  • Knowledge: Warranty experience and general accounting knowledge are highly preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail and a team-first mentality.
