Beginnings Boutique is a family-owned fashion retailer in Westchester, NY, founded in 1978. Known for curated collections and exceptional service, we operate two locations Beginnings Boutique and Beginnings Bleus.

Role Overview

Were seeking a full-time, on-site Retail Administrative Assistant for our Armonk and Scarsdale locations. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, proactive, and passionate about fashion retail and customer experience.

Youll work closely with our management team and gain hands-on exposure to many aspects of the business, including store operations, team support, inventory, merchandising, and client experience. The role is highly collaborative and hands-on, with opportunities for long-term growth and increased responsibility over time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support daily store operations, including opening/closing procedures and floor leadership
  • Assist with scheduling, hiring support, training, and team communication
  • Deliver high-touch customer service and assist with client needs and escalations
  • Support inventory management, transfers, receiving, and operational organization
  • Assist with buying support, vendor communication, and merchandising initiatives
  • Review sales and performance reports
  • Assist with visual merchandising, events, and store systems
  • Help ensure stores remain organized, customer-ready, and operationally efficient
  • Handle administrative and operational tasks as needed

Qualifications

  • Retail, operations, or customer service experience preferred
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Professional, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Passion for fashion and personalized customer service
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced retail environment

Schedule & Requirements

  • Full-time with weekend availability required
  • Travel between Scarsdale and Armonk locations required
