Job Description
Solicits/reviews supplier proposals, develops evaluation criteria, negotiates subcontract terms and conditions provisions, selects or recommends subcontractors, participates in the developments of subcontract packages for review, prepares awards and administers resulting subcontracts. Negotiates additions, deletions, or modifications to subcontracts. Coordinates material receipts and resolution of issues related to contractual requirements and resolves invoice issues. Develops subcontracts and subcontract files, coordinates work requirements with the Product team, and defines terms and conditions for the procurement of specialized materials, equipment, services and participates in Zero Defect initiatives with suppliers.
This position initially will be predominantly focused on our sustainment and repairs depot program, with a pivot to other focuses of the business as required. You will administer repair and sustainment subcontract purchase orders end-to-end, from requisition through modification and close out, ensuring accuracy of pricing, funding and compliance with contract flow down requirements. You will leverage ERP data to build analytics and metrics that track PO trends, repair turn around times, volume, aging actions, and pricing changes, producing routine reports that support sustainment forecasting and audit readiness.
A successful candidate must be able to be an effective communicator internally and externally at all levels and in a fast-paced environment, build mutually beneficial relationships, be willing to advance their knowledge of procurement compliance, and proactively adopt best practices and support new initiatives.

Required Skills and Education
  • Familiarity with a large, complex multifaceted electronics design & manufacturing environment

  • Familiarity of FAR and DFAR regulations and of ITAR (International Traffic in Arms Regulation) and EAR (Export Administration Regulation)
    • Understanding of subcontractor solicitations and bid analysis/process.
