At Tutor Me Education, we are revolutionizing the way students learn, and we're seeking passionate teachers and tutors with special education experience to provide 1:1 in-home tutoring in Millbrae, CA! About the Role: As an Tutor at Tutor Me Education, you'll provide personalized, one-on-one tutoring to students with special needs in their homes. You will be responsible for helping students with daily activities, offering moral support, and delivering tailored instruction based on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
We are currently hiring for multiple positions across all cities in Millbrae, CA
Details:
  • In-Person Tutoring in Millbrae, CA
  • Schedule: 25 hours per month, 3x a week 1-2hrs per session
  • Rate ranger from $25-$35 per hour

Ideal Candidate:
  • Teaching credential required
  • Fluent in both English and Spanish
  • Extensive experience working with students with Autism, ADHD, and IEP accommodations
  • Strong special education background with experience teaching early elementary foundational skills
  • Skilled in reading fluency, reading comprehension, foundational writing, and core math instruction
  • Able to develop structured lesson plans and individualized curriculum supports
  • Patient, engaging, and confident using positive behavior supports and redirection strategies
  • Familiar with differentiated instruction, scaffolding, and multisensory teaching methods
  • Strong ability to build rapport and maintain student motivation through interactive learning
