Role and Team

  • Reporting to the Operations Manager or other designated manager, you will operate motor vehicles on the premises in support of auction activities. Your primary focus is to execute vehicle movement across the lot by transporting and staging units in designated areas under the direction of leadership. This consists of hooking up and moving travel trailers and 5th wheels. Will be driving motorhomes.

Responsibilities

  • Safe Operations: Always operate motor vehicles safely and practice conservative, cautious, and courteous driving habits.
  • Vehicle Staging: Support efficient lot flow and ensure vehicles are positioned accurately to meet operational and sale day needs.
  • Operational Support: Safely move, stage, and park various makes, models, sizes, and conditions of vehicles in designated lot areas throughout the shift.
  • Efficiency: Move vehicles from the finish line to designated parking spots using alphanumeric ordering.
  • Inventory Tracking: Scan parked vehicles in the Internal Tracking system to maintain accurate inventory and record movement.
  • Maintenance: Jump-start vehicles using a battery box as required.
  • Safety Compliance: Maintain work areas to ensure a safe environment and promptly notify managers of all driving-related incidents or potential hazards.
  • Policy Adherence: Follow company procedures involving accidents, injuries, or property damage, and ensure all state or federal laws are followed.
  • Other Duties: Perform any other duties assigned by the designated manager.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED preferred
  • Must be 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license that meets the requirements
  • Able to safely drive a variety of vehicle makes, models, and sizes
  • Experience driving motorhomes/RVs preferred
  • Experience with moving travel trailers and fifth wheels preferred
  • Automotive or auction experience preferred
  • Proficiency with computer systems and applications
