We are currently seeking an experienced Body Shop Manager. This is a working position. You will manage a small team of body shop technicians and work in the body shop as well! 

Allegheny Trucks, Inc. is a family owned and operated Heavy Duty Truck Company, founded in 1978 by Larry M. Hale. We offer new and used International Truck sales, Idealease Truck leasing and rentals, parts and tire departments and a service department that is open 7 days a week. We specialize in heavy duty truck towing and roadside assistance 24/7. We know trucks and we promise to serve our customers better than anybody else!

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a very small team of 1-2 body shops technicians 
  • Write estimates and work with insurance companies 
  • Schedule work and coordinate with parts department for parts needed for job
  • Manage work flow
  • Assist and train personnel 
  • Ensure quality control
  • Meet and greet customers
  • Provide excellent customer service 

Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership skills
  • Two years of body shop experience is preferred 
  • Practical experience and proficiency in use of all body shop tools required for the job
  • Working knowledge/experience of medium and heavy duty trucks
  • Must have own hand tools
  • Basic computer skills 
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs with/without help
  • High school diploma or GED
