Job Summary:
Client is seeking a Senior Informatica Consultant/ETL/IDQ Developer with the following skills and experience:
Experience:
•8-10+ years of experience at Enterprise-level implementation of data governance using
PowerCenter, Power Exchange for SAP, Data Quality, Address and Contact Validation and PowerCenter Real Time
•3+ years of SQL SERVER development experience
•3+ years of Data Modelling and Dashboard experience with Qlikview or other tools.
•Experience in Informatica's data quality methodology and best practices for analyzing, cleansing, standardizing, and matching/duplicate resolution
Skills:
•Strong technical knowledge in Informatica Power Center, Informatica Data Quality 10.x
•Strong Data integration knowledge in PowerCenter Real-time and Power Exchange with SAP
•Lead end to end implementation of Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) suite and Data as a Service (DaaS) components which includes Global Address and Contact Verification
•Strong SQL Server Database technical knowledge
•Good Development skills on Dashboard Tools(Qlikview)
•Excellent communication and organization skills
•Excellent collaboration skills with various business and technical teams to gather requirements around data quality rules and propose the optimization of these rules if applicable, then design and develop these rules with IDQ
Understand reusability, parameterization in developing the Informatica mappings/workflows
Informatica Tasks:
•Install and configure the latest versions of Informatica Data Governance edition (Data Quality, Power Center, Address Doctor, Business Glossary and Metadata Manager) software within your environment. Configuration of Server GRID (in 3 environments plus DR).
•Install and configure Domain, IDQ Repo, IDQ Integration Services (GRID), Analyst, Content Management Service, DQ Proactive Monitoring, Power Center Repository, Power Center Integration Services (GRID), web service hub (GRID), Metadata Manager, Search Service, Email Service...etc.
•Install out-of-the-box content (All Accelerators) in your environment.
•Install Identity Match population(s) for USA and International.
•Install worldwide Address Doctor files (Pre Load)
•Install and validate Advanced Profiling and Discovery content.
•Configure AD50.cfg and IDQTX.cfg for Address Validation and Matching
•Identify relevant data sources and create and test the connections so they may be accessed by Informatica tools (Data Quality and Power Center)
•Configure and test SAP, ODBC, File and RDBMS connections in Data Quality and Power Center
•Security Implementation for the tool -Create Roles/Groups and Integrate with LDAP/SAML
•Create a single sign-on for Informatica analyst
•Performance Tuning/Java Heap Settings for application Services.
•Learn about Informatica's data quality methodology and best practices for analyzing, cleansing, standardizing, and matching/duplicate resolution.
•Work with your team to define data quality business rules that are suitable for your data.
•Extract Data from SAP Master Data tables to DQ Staging area (Customer, Vendor, and Material Master Tables).
•Perform initial data analysis (Profiling) and build a series of data quality scorecards and dashboards(Qlikview) classifying the areas of concern in your data.
•Develop a prioritized list of data quality areas that need attention.
•Begin the process of applying data quality business rules with lnformatica Data Quality, progressing through the following areas: * Analysis * Cleansing and Standardization *Grouping and Matching * Exception Management * Human Task and Workflow * Data Quality Web services for Cleansing, Standardization and Matching
•Build and edit reference tables.
•Troubleshoot and tune your data quality processes. Document and Standardize final code from the engagement.
•Create Data Dictionaries in Business Glossary
•Document "Next Step" business rules and data quality steps for implementation
•Test and migrate the code to higher environments (QA, PROD...etc.)
•Production ready and support go live
•Gather requirements for- North America (US and Canada) plus 3 International
Countries
•Batch Address Validation Development/Implementation - North America (US and Canada) plus 3 International Countries in Data Quality and Power Center
•Assign address enhancement data
•Develop and Implement rules/mapplets/mappings/workflows
•Develop multiple mappings/workflows for different address lengths andmultiple language/scrips (ASCII, LATIN and Local Language scripts)
•Standardize/Cleanse/Human Task workflow
•Exception management for managing bad data
•Automate the Batch Process for Files (File watcher)
•Run the legacy data with address doctor and prepare reports for legacy data cleansing
•Performance Testing, End to end testing for batch Jobs
•Test and migrate the code to higher environments(QA,PROD...etc)
•Production ready and support go live
•Address validation web service development/Implementation - for the above countries in Data Quality/Power Center
•Develop and Implement rules/mapplets/mappings/workflows
•Web service development - for the above countries (GRID)
•Address Validation (Combination of batch andSuggestion/interactive orMultiple)
•Develop multiple web services for different address lengths andmultiple language/scrips (ASCII, LATIN and Local Language scripts)
•Performance , Loadand end to end testing for web services
•Implement Excel add on for self service
•Test and migrate the code to higher environments(QA,PROD...etc)
•Production ready and support go live
Develop rules in Data Quality and Deploy in Power center as batch and web services
•Develop and Implement Batch and web services process for DaaS through Data Quality/Power center mappings and create standardization and Cleanse rules for phone and email.
•Automate the Batch process for Files
•Training and document all above tasks
•Performance, Load and end to end testing for web services
•Test and migrate the code to higher environments(QA,PROD...etc)
•Production ready and support go live
•Prepare a run book that documents the implementation, Code, mappings, system tests and knowledge transfer.
