Chattanooga Tennessee based IT company looking for additional field technician staff. Position requires extensive travel, approaching 100%. Living in Chattanooga is not a requirement.
You will be traveling across the United States, and potentially Canada, installing computer storage systems and software. Once installed, you will provide a knowledge transfer to the customer so that they gain the basic knowledge required to use the system(s).
Manufacturer-provided training will be provided and you will be required to complete competency certifications.
You will be a member of a team and collaborate with them regularly to address issues that may be encountered while deployed at a customer site.
You should be a self-starter, and good with time management skills. There is paperwork required to complete the process associated with each engagement.
Communication is critical, as you will spend your days in front of customers, as the product expert while working to install and address any system issues or customer inquiries.
A working knowledge of Windows, VMware, networking are preferred, additionally a knowledge of cloud technologies such as Azure or AWS would be helpful.
