Description:

Thrust is seeking a personable, highly motivated individual with strong organization skills and a passion for people to join our Admissions Team. As an Admissions & Sales Representative, you serve as the first point of contact for potential students who are interested in our Flight and Maintenance training programs located at the Addison, TX airport. You will guide potential students through our enrollment process โ€“ answering questions, educating on our programs, selling through objections, and managing the sales cycle to enroll new students with a friendly, helpful approach. This is an onsite position, requiring office presence Monday - Friday.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Product Expert: Serve as the first point of contact for potential students, providing clear and engaging information about our programs, enrollment process, and career pathways.
  • Sales Cycle: Identify prospects, set appointments, make effective qualifying sales calls, and manage the sales cycle to close new business across our programs. This includes making inbound and outbound calls, webchats, emails, and follow ups.
  • Campus Tours & On-Site Engagement: Conduct in-person campus tours to showcase our facilities, training environment, and aircraft fleet.
  • CRM Management: Maintain detailed records and update CRM data to ensure accuracy and support sales team efficiency.
  • Collaboration & Events: Collaborate across departments to provide a smooth onboarding experience for students, schedule discovery flights and tours, and organize events to showcase the Thrust experience. This can include industry workshops, school fairs, and internal Thrust events.
  • Admissions Support: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the admissions process by assisting with new strategies, recommending improvements, and maintaining strong industry knowledge to better promote Thrust.
Requirements:
  • 1-3 years of Sales experience preferably in client facing roles (Admissions, Sales, Customer Success, Account Management, or related field)
  • Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and visitors in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to clearly frame value proposition, probe for objections, and eliminate barriers to gain commitment
  • Aviation knowledge or experience is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage over the phone, in person, and via email.
  • Comfortable making and receiving a high volume of daily calls while maintaining professionalism and enthusiasm.
  • Ability to conduct engaging, informative campus tours
  • Passion for helping others, providing guidance, and ensuring a positive experience for prospective students and their families.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, track student progress, and follow up efficiently.
  • Proficiency in Google Suite, CRM familiarity, and the ability to learn new software tools quickly.
  • Ability to be on your feet for extended periods while conducting campus and aircraft tours
  • Ability to safely enter and exit small aircraft
  • Occasional evening or weekend availability required for events and student tours.
