Work Environment

This position is fully remote, offering you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while making a tangible impact on the lives of those we serve. Your work schedule will generally be Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with potential evening shifts depending on patient needs. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough and comprehensive assessments for individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders, identifying their unique goals and needs.
  • Create customized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored for each patient.
  • Deliver one-on-one counseling sessions utilizing motivational interviewing techniques, cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and other relevant modalities to facilitate patient engagement.
  • Lead group therapy sessions focusing on various aspects of addiction recovery, encouraging patient interaction and support amongst peers.
  • Work collaboratively with our psychiatrists, addiction medicine specialists, and the broader mental health team to provide integrated and coordinated care to patients.
  • Provide urgent crisis intervention and support as needed during substance use emergencies.
  • Educate both patients and their families about addiction challenges, effective recovery strategies, and available community resources.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient management.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and ongoing professional development, striving to stay informed about the latest advancements in substance use disorder treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
