Role Overview

We are scaling up our ADAS team to successfully integrate L2+ features by EOD. Currently, the Software Test team is looking for a dedicated engineer with specialized ADAS skillsets. As the Software Test Engineer, ADAS, you will be responsible for validating the entire ADAS system from a broad, black-box perspective. Your primary focus will be rigorous bench-level testing to support the Cockpit Domain Controller (CDC) ECU, as well as the Advanced Driver Control Unit (ADCU / ADCU Pro).ย

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead bench-level testing for the Cockpit Domain Controller (CDC), ADCU, and ADCU Pro.
  • Validate the complete, integrated ADAS system to support the rollout of L2+ features.
  • Approach testing methodology as a "black box," controlling for all variables and verifying concretely rather than making assumptions.
  • Maintain rigorous and proper documentation for all system tests and validation results.
Required Skills & Experience
  • 2-3+ years of relevant engineering experience (mid-level).
  • Experience with end to end validation of ADAS Systems.ย ย
  • Hands-on experience with Bench-level Testing and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL).
  • Experience working with and testing L2+ features like Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB), Forward Collision Warning (FCW) and Lane Centering Control (LCC).
  • Strong network knowledge surrounding CAN, CANFD and Automotive Ethernet protocols.
  • General experience with Environment Simulation Software (specifically looking for familiarity with IPG Carmaker or dSPACE ASM).
  • Proven experience in automating test cases using Python, AutomationDesk or ECUTest.
  • Proficiency with requirements management tools like Polarion or Jama.

ย

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Camera, Radars and Ultrasonic Sensor Simulation.ย
  • Familiarity with Perception, Sensor Fusion and Controls Methodologies
  • Familiarity with Road, Traffic and Test Scenario generation for ADAS Domain
  • Knowledge of industry ADAS standards, specifically Functional Safety (ISO 26262) and SOTIF (ISO 21448).
  • Proficiency with basic electrical wiring, electronics fundamentals and the ability to debug hardware issues using tools like digital multimeters, oscilloscopes
  • Proficiency in Python Automation.
  • Experience using dSPACE SCALEXIO, NI PXI or IPG Xpack Real-time Test Systems
  • Experience with middleware like ROS2 or DDS
  • Experience with Matlab/Simulink
  • Knowledge about CI/CD pipelines is a plus
