Job description

SUMMARY:
Travel to customer locations to install, perform preventative maintenance, repair, training and programming of optical metrology systems.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES (INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO
  • Travel to customer sites to perform installations, training, calibrations, equipment moves, repairs, maintenance, and other required product support services.
  • Build and maintain an expert level of product and application knowledge for several Trioptics product lines.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed.
  • Resolve customer service issues or difficulties.
  • Maintain professional business relationships with customers.
  • Provide status of ongoing projects and future projects to Management.
  • Provide product demonstrations and support engineering center testing and measurement services.
  • Identify customer's needs and sales opportunities and suggest technical solutions for optical metrology and production equipment.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • BS degree in Engineering required, manufacturing methods or similar is preferred or 5 years of relevant experience.
  • 3 -5 years of industrial/manufacturing experience in a customer infield support role.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule and adapt to changing work schedules.
  • Have the ability to travel domestically (some international) 30 - 50%
  • Have a valid Drivers License and a valid Passport
  • US Citizenship or Qualified U.S. Worker
