Job description

Today, we are a growing multimedia company headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia. We are the nation's largest owner of top-rated local television stations and digital assets serving 117 full-power television markets that collectively reach approximately 37% of US television households. The portfolio includes 80 markets with the top-rated television station and 100 markets with the first and/or second highest-rated television station in average all-day ratings across 116 of such markets that were measured by Nielsen in 2025. We also own the largest Telemundo Affiliate group with 46 markets and Gray Digital Media, a full-service digital agency offering national and local clients digital marketing strategies with the most advanced digital products and services. Job Summary/Description:

As a Media Executive, you will be responsible for establishing relationships with local businesses and ad agencies, helping them develop multi-platform marketing campaigns. This position will be responsible for promoting products across all of our television stations, WTVA.com, and numerous digital marketing solutions. The ideal candidate is service-oriented, coachable, self-motivated, thrives in a goal-oriented team environment, and has strong interpersonal skills. Duties/Responsibilities:
  • Generate revenue across all available platforms
  • Prospect, contact, and present to new businesses to generate new advertising revenue
  • Manage inventory and protect station rate structure
  • Form strategic business and market partnerships
  • Regularly meet with sales managers to ensure progression and success with stated goals
  • Act as negotiator for assigned accounts; ensure proposals align with station strategies.
  • Create and deliver sales presentations to clients & agencies
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Must have a proven track record in sales and new business development
  • Experience in TV/Radio/Newspaper or other sales-related experience is preferred
  • Experience in a consultative customer-focused business atmosphere
  • Must have personal insured transportation & valid driver’s license
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment background check
