Job description

Description:

The Material Handler is responsible for the movement, distribution, and storage of materials within the warehouse, in a safe manner.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist warehouse operations through safe material movement and organization
  • Move material supply to and from the conveyor team
  • Various team project work as assigned by warehouse management
  • Safely operate sit-down propane forklift
  • Adhere to company programs, policies, and procedures while completing work tasks
  • Comply with State and Federal regulations
  • Miscellaneous duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • 18 years or older to apply
  • Authorized to work in the United States and e-Verify
  • Dependable, reliable and excellent attendance required
  • Ability to work overtime - scheduled for 50 hours per week
  • Forklift experience which includes, but is not limited to moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting materials.
  • Perform equipment inspections and ensure all related reports follow state and federal regulations
  • Report all equipment deficiencies or malfunctions requiring maintenance

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

  • Warehouse setting exposed to outside weather conditions, wet and/or humid conditions, and cold/hot temperatures.
  • Exposed to normal work hazards, including a variety of physical conditions, moving vehicles, and machines.
  • Fast-paced manufacturing environment with some allergen products.
