We're looking for a contract Copywriter who excels at writing sharp, attention-grabbing short-form copy that drives action. This role is ideal for someone who knows how to craft high-performing email subject lines, hero headlines, ad hooks, web headers, CTAs, and campaign messaging that quickly capture attention and convert. Your work will play a key role in how customers engage with ROKA across digital touchpoints.

Responsibilities:

  • Write customer-facing short-form copy across ROKA's marketing channels, including email, paid ads, website headers, landing pages, and campaign assets
  • Develop high-converting email subject lines, preview text, and headline hooks
  • Create compelling ad copy, web hero messaging, CTAs, and promotional headlines
  • Craft concise product messaging that clearly communicates features, benefits, and performance advantages
  • Partner with creative and marketing teams on campaign concepts, messaging angles, and testing ideas
  • Continuously iterate on copy based on performance data, feedback, and channel learnings
  • Research customer insights, product reviews, and competitive positioning to strengthen messaging
  • Support ongoing website updates, launches, and seasonal campaign refreshes
  • Help maintain a consistent, conversion-driven brand voice across all short-form touchpoints

Must Haves: 

  • 3+ years of copywriting experience, ideally in a fast-paced, consumer brand environment
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating range across marketing channels (email, web, campaigns, product copy)
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills with high attention to detail
  • Proven ability to write concise, conversion-focused short-form copy
  • Strong instinct for hooks, urgency, clarity, and attention-grabbing headlines
  • Strong understanding of audience, tone, and what drives engagement and action
  • Comfortable working independently while managing multiple projects and deadlines
