Acutronic is looking for a Mechanical Designer II to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. In this role, you will be responsible for producing elegant, easily assembled, cost effective Acutronic products and services while maintaining the project schedule. Our ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of relevant experience in mechanical design and 3D modeling.

Mechanical Designer II

Your Roles/Responsibilities:

  • Design complex electro-mechanical systems and components utilizing 3D modeling
  • Generate manufacturing and assembly drawings using computer aided drafting (CAD) software
  • Create engineering document releases for purchasing and manufacturing
  • Revise manufacturing and assembly drawings after release
  • Work with Project management and supervisors to maintain budget and schedule

Your Profile/Qualifications/Skills:

  • Associates Degree in Mechanical Design from an accredited college or university, preferred
  • At least five years of technical experience, required
  • Experience using 3D modeling is required
  • A combination of education and skills may be considered
