Job description

Overview: Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Physical Therapy/Acupuncture Tech, where your enthusiasm and dedication will directly support patient recovery and well-being. In this vital role, you will assist licensed physical therapists in delivering exceptional rehabilitative care across inpatient, outpatient, and post-acute settings. Your proactive approach will ensure smooth clinical operations, foster positive patient experiences, and contribute to the overall success of our therapy programs. Responsibilities

  • Prepare treatment areas and assist with set-up of therapy equipment for patient sessions
  • Support physical therapists by monitoring patient progress and documenting responses during therapy sessions
  • Assist with patient intake procedures, including gathering medical history and explaining treatment plans
  • Ensure proper handling of medical terminology and physiology concepts to facilitate effective communication among team members
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of therapy spaces, equipment, and supplies in accordance with hospital standards
  • Provide compassionate patient service by addressing questions, offering encouragement, and ensuring comfort during treatments
  • Support inpatient and outpatient care activities across orthopedic, geriatrics, acute care, and sub-acute settings

Qualifications
