Are you a skilled Surgeon looking to join a dynamic team of eye care professionals? Acuity Eye Group/ Retina Institute of California is seeking a Glaucoma and Cataract Surgeon that will thrive in an integrated environment, recognizing that working in partnership with optometrists, ophthalmologists, Glaucoma, Cornea, Pediatric, and Retina specialists will result in the highest levels of clinical excellence. This is a full-time opportunity supporting our Los Angeles locations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Perform glaucoma and cataract surgeries with precision and care
  • Conduct thorough eye exams and diagnose eye conditions
  • Collaborate with other eye care professionals to provide comprehensive care
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in treatment

Requirements
REQUIRED:
  • Medical Degree (M.D.) in Ophthalmology and active California license in good standing. • Successful completion of a residency in Ophthalmology and a Fellowship in Vitreoretinal Surgery.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth understanding of eye conditions and vision defects.
  • Hands-on experience with eye examination tools, such as ophthalmoscope and tonometer. • The ability to explain medical terms simply and calmly.
  • Experience with EMR.
