Job description

We are seeking an entry-level Actuarial Analysts to join our team, at our League City, TX or Houston, TX location.
The responsibilities of this position primarily involve operating actuarial models testing assumptions and methodologies for impacts and testing respective impacts to report up to senior management for decision making. Exposure across products and actuarial methods is expected to be broad.
What You'll Do:
  • Performs and presents actuarial user acceptance tests to valuation and cash flow testing stakeholders
  • Conduct ad hoc testing, scenario-based ("what if"), and impact analyses as bandwidth allows, with flexibility to support either Life or Annuity products and specialize in valuation or cash flow testing based on skill set.
What You'll Need:
  • A bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, economics, or a related field with a strong mathematical background is required
  • 2-4 Actuarial Exams
Preferred Experience:
  • Excellent communication and time management skills
  • Familiarity with cash flow testing or valuation concepts
  • Experience modeling within Moody's AXIS
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Experience with SQL and/or VBA/Office Macros
  • Deep familiarity with either life and annuity products and familiarity with drivers of surplus and reserves for those products
