To become an actor, you should gain acting training through classes or a drama program, build a portfolio with headshots and a resume, and gain experience through auditions, community theater, or student films. Networking and attending casting calls are also essential steps in securing acting roles.

What jobs can I do as an actor?

Actors can work in film, television, theater, commercials, voice-over work, and digital media. They may also take on roles such as stunt performers, stand-ins, or background extras, often requiring skills in improvisation, voice modulation, and understanding of scripts.
