Job description

HGA is seeking a Site Project Controls Manager to lead all on-site project controls functions for a high-profile, multi-billion-dollar semiconductor manufacturing expansion in Boise, ID, supporting a leading global advanced technology environment.
Position Overview
  • This role will serve as the on-site authority for all project controls functions, acting as the central source of truth across cost, schedule, risk, and reporting disciplines on large-scale semiconductor construction programs.
  • The successful candidate will bring deep experience managing project controls on multi-billion-dollar industrial or energy projects, with a strong understanding of complex EPC delivery models and owner's representation environments.
  • The position will lead a multi-disciplinary controls team and interface directly with owner, EPC contractors, and design partners to ensure alignment across all project execution phases.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related technical discipline required
  • Minimum 15 years of progressive project controls experience with at least 10 years on mega-projects (oil & gas, energy, semiconductor)
  • Proven leadership managing integrated project controls teams in matrix environments
  • Expert knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM), Advanced Work Packaging (AWP), and system-based commissioning
  • Demonstrated experience auditing and overseeing Tier 1 EPC contractors from an owner perspective
  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to translate technical data into actionable insights
