Casting call for Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy Residency. Seeking cast. ONLY LOCAL TALENT WILL BE CONSIDERED. See the details below.

About the Project

Seeking talented male and female actors for ongoing Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy residency. Actors will perform one of Edgar Allan Poe’s iconic monologues as part of an immersive theatrical cocktail experience.

  • Initial performances: July 16–18.
  • Continuing every weekend through the end of August.
  • Preference given to actors available for multiple weekends.
Requirements
  • Must be local to the Detroit area.
  • Comfortable performing in front of live audiences.
  • Able to memorize and perform a scripted monologue.
  • Reliable and available for multiple weekends.
  • Theater, film, and improv experience all welcome.
