Alliance Health at Rosewood is HIRING for a FULL TIME ACTIVITIES ASSISTANT to join our dynamic team!
The Activities Assistant is responsible for performing assigned group or individual residents and patients. We are looking for compassion, creativity, a passion for helping others, and a self starter!!
Our Residents are an extremely social bunch! We care for those living with dementia and Alzheimer's; therefore must be adaptable and able to perform a wide range of activities and engagement for all Residents.
The Activities Assistant reports directly to the Activities Director. Hours are Monday through Friday - with availability for some weekends and holidays. The Activities Department is well supported, and has the direct support from the Director of Nursing and Administrator in order to promote collaboration and interdisclipinary approach.
Job Description:
  • Assists in the development, organization, evaluation and implementation of the daily recreational activity program.
  • Makes recommendations to the Activity Director for the purchase of supplies and equipment needed for program implementation and resident participation.
  • Follows the policies and procedures as prescribed in the Activity Department Policy Manual.
  • Strives to achieve a high level of resident satisfaction by conducting activities in a courteous and enthusiastic manner.
