**Job Summary:**
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Activity Assistant / Driver to join our dynamic team. In this dual role, you will assist with planning and implementing recreational activities for our participants while also providing safe and reliable transportation. This position requires a friendly demeanor, strong communication skills, and a passion for encouraging active lifestyles.
**Key Responsibilities:**
*Activity Assistance:*
- Collaborate with the Activities Coordinator to plan, organize, and implement various recreational activities for participants.
- Lead and assist in activities such as arts and crafts, games, exercise classes, community outings, and special events.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere that encourages participation and social interaction among participants.
- Monitor participant engagement and provide support as needed to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.
- Assist in setting up and cleaning up activities, including preparing materials and equipment.
*Transportation Duties:*
- Safely transport participants to and from scheduled activities and events using an organization vehicle.
- Ensure the vehicle is in good condition, conducting routine checks and reporting any maintenance issues.
- Assist participants in boarding and deboarding the vehicle, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport.
- Maintain a friendly and professional demeanor while interacting with participants, families, and team members.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation.
