Job description

Job Title: Activity AideLocation: Fenton, MI, 48430Job Description:

The Activity Aide is responsible for creating craft ideas to be carried out by residents, changing the activity board per season, holiday, or informational idea, and carrying out activities on the monthly calendar as created by the Life Enrichment Coordinator. They will assist in gathering information for the monthly newsletter, planning activities for the residents, and assessing residents' activity preferences and interests. The Activity Aide will also maintain and inventory activity supplies and equipment, inform residents and staff of planned activities, and carry out or assemble activities six days a week.

Additionally, the Activity Aide will inform the head cook if food is needed for an activity, inform all individuals of any changes in planned schedules, and maintain a positive, encouraging attitude with all involved. They will be required to transport residents on outings using a 12-seater shuttle bus, and Vicinia will pay for their Chauffeurs License.
