Weekend Activities Assistant (CNA Required)
Gulfside Health & Rehabilitation – Clearwater, FL

We are seeking an energetic, compassionate Weekend Activities Assistant to join our team at our skilled nursing facility in Clearwater, Florida. This role is perfect for a CNA who enjoys engaging with residents and helping create a positive, social environment.

Schedule:

  • Saturdays & Sundays

  • 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM

  • Weekend availability is required

Position Overview:
The Weekend Activities Assistant supports the Activities Department by assisting with group and individual activities that enhance residents’ quality of life, social engagement, and overall well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with planning and leading recreational and therapeutic activities

  • Encourage resident participation in group and one-on-one activities

  • Escort residents to and from activity areas as needed

  • Provide positive interaction and emotional support to residents

  • Assist residents with basic needs during activities

  • Help maintain a safe, clean, and organized activity environment

  • Work closely with the Activities Director and nursing staff

Requirements:

  • Active Florida CNA license (required)

  • Ability to work every Saturday and Sunday

  • Friendly, patient, and engaging personality

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred
