Job Title: Activities Assistant (Weekends - Friday, Saturday and Sunday)
Job Location: Keene, New Hampshire

Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Activities Assistant to join our team at Alpine Healthcare Center. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our residents by planning and implementing engaging activities, social events, and programs to promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being. This is a part-time, weekend position.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, and implement activities, including arts and crafts, games, exercise programs, and social events for our residents

  • Collaborate with the Activities Director to develop and implement activity programs that meet the interests and needs of our residents

  • Assist with resident assessments to identify their interests and abilities, and use this information to tailor activities to meet their needs

  • Lead and participate in activities with residents, including one-on-one and group activities

  • Maintain accurate records and reports of activities, including resident participation and feedback

  • Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to ensure a positive and engaging environment

  • Support and assist with orientation and training of new staff members

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in recreation, or related field preferred

  • Ability to work weekends, including Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
