Iris Memory Care is seeking a compassionate, energetic, and dependable Life Enrichment Assistant to join our team in Oklahoma City team.

Position Overview

The Life Enrichment Assistant helps plan and lead activities that support residents’ emotional, social, cognitive, and physical well-being. This role works closely with residents throughout the day and helps create a warm, engaging environment throughout the community.

This is a part-time position. Please note that weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and assist with daily activities, events, games, crafts, music, exercise, and social engagement
  • Encourage resident participation and build positive relationships with residents and families
  • Support outings, special events, and holiday celebrations
  • Assist with activity setup, decorating, organization, and cleanup
  • Help maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere throughout the community
  • Work collaboratively with caregivers, nursing staff, and leadership
  • Adapt activities to meet the unique needs of residents living with dementia
