Job description

Description:

We have immediate openings for experienced Acme Gridley Screw Machine operators and Set-up operators on both day and night shift. Candidates with mechanical aptitude will be considered (training provided). We have an air-conditioned plant and clean working environment. 


Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday (Days)

            4:30 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. Monday - Friday (Afternoons)


Requirements:
  • Must have prior Acme Gridley Screw Machine experience (minimum 1 year)
  • Complete scheduled quality Checks
  • Basic cleaning, oiling and general maintenance of Screw Machine
  • Trouble shoot and diagnose minor mechanical difficulties
  • Change tools and drills
  • Ability to run 2 machines
  • Stock machines as needed
  • Use of mics/gages/calipers or ability to learn to use the required quality measurement instruments

We are looking for candidates who are quality conscious, mechanically inclined, and willing to work in a team environment. A good attendance record and being able to work overtime is required. The ability to work on your own and take the initiative to complete the required tasks in a timely and organized manner is a must. Reliable transportation is important.
