As a Manufacturing Engineering Co-Op, you will contribute towards the achievement of plant performance objectives through the successful execution of continuous improvement projects. This position will take direction from and be mentored by a manufacturing engineer focused on metal fabrication and assembly processes.

This position is for a Spring 2027 Co-Op, with a start date of January 2027 and an end date of May 2027.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design, build, and validate fixtures and tooling for production and/or material handling
  • Verify and update plant layout drawings as required
  • Research, order, and implement tools and plant equipment for existing and new processes
  • Create or revise process documentation including work instructions and technical procedures
  • Utilize a hands-on approach to complete specific projects to improve safety, quality, and productivity
  • Troubleshoot processes and equipment issues
  • Perform other duties as specified by the supervisor

What You’ll Bring:

  • Major study in:
    • Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (preferred)
    • Mechanical Engineering Technology
    • Industrial Technology
    • Other 4-year engineer/technical degree program
  • Applicable work experience preferred.
