Job description

Amazon Connect Decisions (ACD) is AWS's decision intelligence service that helps enterprises optimize complex planning and operational decisions using Agentic frameworks. Initially anchored in supply chain planning (demand forecasting, inventory optimization, S&OP), ACD is also expanding into adjacent domains.
We're looking for a Senior Tech Business Developer to drive adoption of Amazon Connect Decisions across enterprise customers and build the partner ecosystem that scales our reach. This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP).
You will own the end-to-end business development and partner strategy for ACD within your territory. On the customer side, you'll engage VP- and C-level decision-makers (Chief Supply Chain Officers, VP Operations, VP Planning, CFOs) to demonstrate how cloud-native decision intelligence outperforms legacy on-premises planning tools. On the partner side, you'll recruit, enable, and co-sell with system integrators, domain consultancies, and technology partners to create a scalable go-to-market engine.
The ideal candidate brings enterprise sales experience combined with working knowledge of planning-intensive business functions - supply chain, operations, finance, or logistics. You should be comfortable leading executive conversations about business transformation, running joint pipeline with partners, and collaborating deeply with product teams to shape a rapidly evolving service.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the go-to-market strategy for Amazon Connect Decisions in your territory, targeting enterprises with complex planning challenges across supply chain, operations, logistics, and financial planning
- Develop account strategies for Fortune 500 organizations, mapping stakeholders from VP Operations and VP Supply Chain through the C-suite
- Lead customer discovery and advisory engagements, translating business pain points (demand variability, excess inventory, long planning cycles, disconnected decision processes) into ACD solution architectures
- Build, manage, and scale the ACD partner ecosystem: recruit system integrators, supply chain and operations consultancies, and domain-specific partners; develop joint go-to-market plans; enable partners on ACD capabilities; and drive co-sell pipeline
- Develop partner business plans with measurable outcomes, including joint revenue targets, enablement milestones, and customer delivery capacity
- Run partner enablement activities - technical training, demo certification, co-selling motions - to build self-sufficient partner delivery capability
- Build and manage a qualified pipeline; deliver accurate forecasts and close deals against targets
- Partner with Solutions Architects and the ACD product team to deliver technical proof-of-concepts and pilots
- Create thought leadership content (whitepapers, webinars, re:Invent sessions, partner collateral) that positions AWS as a credible voice in enterprise decision intelligence
- Serve as the voice of the customer internally, feeding product requirements, competitive intelligence, and partner feedback to ACD engineering and product teams
- Collaborate with AWS field sales teams (Account Managers, ISRs) to identify and qualify opportunities within existing AWS accounts
