Job description

This Kroger Internship is a one year immersive experience that offers students an opportunity to grow their careers through a variety of focused internship assignments. Program Dates: September 14, 2026 - September 10, 2027.

Minimum

  • Open to all majors, must be actively pursuing a degree at an accredited college or university with a preferred GPA of 3.0 
  • Applicants must have work authorization that does not now or in the future require sponsorship of a visa for employment authorization in the United States and with Kroger Co (i.e., H1-B visa, F-1 visa (OPT), TN visa or any other non-immigrant status)
  • Highly motivated student with the desire to take initiative on their own work

An Intern works as a member of the Aviation Technician team under supervision of a licensed Aviation Technician. An Intern would be responsible for cleaning and servicing of the company aircraft and hangar Facility as well as perform Maintenance on company aircraft. The Intern would also be responsible for completing non-technical flight details.

  • Work variable hours and variable week days, weekend work required
  • ReFuel aircraft
  • Move aircraft in and out of the hangar
  • Clean and restock the aircraft
  • Assist passengers in an appropriate manner
  • Meet arriving aircraft and dispatch departing aircraft
  • Clean aircraft hangar and perform minor hangar Maintenance
  • Perform Maintenance on ground Support equipment
  • Perform aircraft postflight Inspection under the direct supervision of an Aircraft Technician
  • Perform minor aircraft Maintenance under the direct supervision of an Aircraft Technician.
  • Must be able to perform the essential functions of this position with or without reasonable accommodation.
