Accounting Coordinator
CBIZ Talent Solutions is seeking an Accounting Coordinator for the company. This hands-on role is ideal for an accounting-minded professional who will manage day-to-day Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions while supporting the CFO with accounting, financial reporting, and special projects. The position works closely with Project Managers to ensure accurate job costing, billing, and financial records.
Key Responsibilities
  • Process vendor and subcontractor invoices and payments, ensuring proper job coding and required documentation.
  • Prepare customer invoices, process payments, monitor collections, and follow up on outstanding receivables.
  • Assist with job costing, change orders, retainage, and lien waiver administration.
  • Reconcile vendor, customer, and general ledger accounts and support month-end close activities.
  • Support the CFO with financial analysis, reporting, reconciliations, and other accounting projects.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or general accounting experience.
  • Construction industry experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of job costing, progress billing, retainage, and lien waivers.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience with accounting software; Sage experience highly preferred.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
