Job Summary

Collects, analyzes, monitors, and reports on the organization's financial matters, managing and ensuring compliance with the organization's financial policies, professional standards and all laws.Responsible for general accounting,fixed assets, accounts payable andexpense reimbursement and revenueaccounting (including accountsreceivable).
Job Responsibilities
  • Performs revenue accounting functions related to the posting of payment received including contacting delinquent customers via phone to secure payment, assisting with printing and mailing of statements, reviewing account histories with customers, posting payments, managing adjustments to ensure efficiency, time and accuracy for control and accountability
  • Responsible for performing monthly account reconciliations and journal entries, which includes general ledger accounts related to the revenue accounting (accounts receivable) process
  • Performs a wide range of support functions to assist in departmental processes
  • Follows clearly defined procedures to complete daily tasks and responsibilities
  • Uses existing procedures to solve straightforward problems without the consistent need to exercise discretion
  • Uses basic communication skills to address internal and/or external clients and/or team members
  • Individual contributor working under direct supervision with little autonomy
  • Performs all other duties as assigned by management

Education
  • High school diploma required; Bachelor's preferred

Experience
  • Typically requires 0-2 years of related work experience
