About This Role  

A Day in the Life of a Pricing & Estimating Intern:  

  • Support proposal team members in the development of cost proposals.  

  • Participate in multiple activities to ensure fully-supported, compliant proposals are current, accurate, and complete in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations and company policies.    

  • Analyze labor hour estimates, material estimates, travel, and other functional estimates  

  • Input data into ProPricer and generate reports 

  • Writing proposal narratives  

  • Assist in preparing management review slides 

  • Support customer fact-finding, negotiations and audits.  

  • Follow established procedures and work under general direction.  

  • Other duties as assigned.  

Qualifications  

What You'll Need:   

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field and/or less than 2 years of relevant work experience.  

  • Ability to obtain a security clearance  

  • PC proficiency required in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.) 

  • Advanced Excel skills are a plus. Ability to learn new software quickly 

  • Capable of communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing 

  • Ability to work well with others at all levels and disciplines 

  • Basic knowledge of General Accounting processes, procedures, and rules
