About This Role
A Day in the Life of a Pricing & Estimating Intern:
Support proposal team members in the development of cost proposals.
Participate in multiple activities to ensure fully-supported, compliant proposals are current, accurate, and complete in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulations and company policies.
Analyze labor hour estimates, material estimates, travel, and other functional estimates
Input data into ProPricer and generate reports
Writing proposal narratives
Assist in preparing management review slides
Support customer fact-finding, negotiations and audits.
Follow established procedures and work under general direction.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
What You'll Need:
Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field and/or less than 2 years of relevant work experience.
Ability to obtain a security clearance
PC proficiency required in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.)
Advanced Excel skills are a plus. Ability to learn new software quickly
Capable of communicating effectively, both verbally and in writing
Ability to work well with others at all levels and disciplines
Basic knowledge of General Accounting processes, procedures, and rules
