Job description

About the Role:

As Manager, Accounting Operations (Procurement) at ShopMy, you'll own our AP, expense, and travel operations, and help us build out procurement as the company scales. This is a hands-on role for someone who wants to bring order to a fast growing finance function, and who's genuinely excited to use AI tools to make that work better, not just faster.

Your Impact to the Role:

  • Own accounts payable, expense management, and travel operations day to day
  • Help build ShopMy's procurement function, including vendor management and spend controls
  • Partner cross functionally with legal, people, and IT teams to streamline processes as we grow
  • Use AI tools to automate and improve how the team works
  • Support billing operations as part of the broader finance function
  • Collaborate with the Finance team on month end close, audits, and reporting

You Are Energized By:

  • Bringing order to a fast moving finance function
  • Using AI tools as part of your everyday workflow

What We're Looking For:

  • 4-6 years in finance operations, accounting, or a related field, accounting background preferred
  • Hands-on experience with AP, expense management, and travel programs
  • Experience with or exposure to procurement and vendor management tools and processย 
  • Comfortable building processes and finding creative solutions to problemsย 
  • Genuine fluency with AI tools
  • Based in NYC or the Bay Area preferred; open to remote for the right candidate
