Key Responsibilities: Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed asset activity, and other month-end adjustments Reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances to ensure accurate financial reporting Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting analysis for management Perform bank reconciliations and support cash management activities Assist with budget-to-actual analysis and ad hoc reporting requests Support internal and external audit processes Partner with operational teams to resolve accounting issues and improve processes Assist with accounts payable support and expense management activities as needed Help maintain strong internal controls and accounting procedures Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 2-5 years of progressive accounting experience Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and month-end close Experience preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting schedules Prior accounting experience within the construction or specialty contractor industry, or public accounting experience serving construction/specialty contractor clients, is required Experience working in project-based accounting environments preferred Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail CPA or progress toward CPA is a plus Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally #ACCNOR.
