Location: Irwindale
Salary: $85,000-$95,000 per year, depending on experience
Direct Hire
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our accounting team and support the Accounting Supervisor and Controller. This role will contribute to day-to-day accounting operations while helping maintain accurate financial records and ensuring accounting practices align with U.S. GAAP.
Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct bank research and assist with daily cash and treasury-related activities.
  • Track capital expenditures and maintain accurate supporting records.
  • Manage fixed asset accounting, including additions, disposals, and related entries.
  • Support the accounts payable process, including invoice review, processing, and payment scheduling.
  • Prepare and post journal entries as part of the monthly close process.
  • Analyze general ledger activity and assist with account reconciliations and adjustments.
  • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Support accounts receivable activities and customer account maintenance.
  • Monitor cash flow and assist with working capital initiatives, including DPO management.
  • Help ensure financial records are accurate, complete, and maintained on a timely basis.
  • Assist with accounting projects and other duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience may be considered.
  • Strong understanding of general accounting and bookkeeping principles.
  • Experience supporting or independently completing month-end financial close activities.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to analyze and manipulate large amounts of financial data.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Dynamics or a similar ERP system.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with the accounting team.
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $95,000.00 per hour
