Job Description Accounting Admin / Service Coordinator – Support High-End Construction and Design Operations Job Overview Company: Mission City Construction Inc. Salary/Pay Rate: Starting at $24.00 per hour (Range: $48,000 - $70,000 per year, based on experience). Location: Santa Clara, CA. Job/Employment Type: Full Time. Project Scope: High-end residential and commercial design-build and property management projects. Mandatory Licenses & Certifications: None Required. The Opportunity You will play a vital role in keeping our high-end construction and property management operations running seamlessly from our Santa Clara office. This role offers an immediate path for professional growth, allowing you to master our financial systems and operations with direct training. You have the unique opportunity to develop your skills and advance into a Service Manager or Project Accountant role. How You Will Make an Impact Coordinate service work requests and manage the accurate billing of client accounts. Process accounting data entry including purchase orders and vendor receipts. Maintain organized job folders, record filings, and job expense binders. Perform weekly expense audits to identify and resolve unrecorded project costs. Assist with internal weekly payroll processing to ensure accurate team compensation. Support project management teams by submitting necessary documents to various city offices. Manage essential office administrative tasks including supply stocking and snack bar maintenance. Required Qualifications & Experience Strong fundamental understanding of basic accounting principles. Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel, Outlook, and Word. Comfort balancing a hybrid workload split between office administration and accounting support. Fluency in English with strong, courteous verbal and written communication skills. Possession of reliable transportation to manage quick office errands and city office visits. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Prior administrative experience within an accounting or bookkeeping environment. Previous experience in job-cost accounting within the construction industry. Verbal and written fluency in Spanish. Existing familiarity with Sage 100c, Workforce, Housecall Pro, or QuickBooks.
