Job description


The Staff Accountant will be responsible for handling the full cycle of accounting duties, monitoring financial transactions, processing accounts receivable and payable, and managing invoices.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel is essential for data entry and the creation of spreadsheets and reports.
Responsibilities:
• Handle the complete cycle of accounting tasks
• Monitor financial transactions and generate reports
• Process accounts receivable and payable, and manage invoices
• Utilize QuickBooks for data entry and financial management
• Conduct regular bank reconciliations, verifying transactions are recorded correctly
• Use Microsoft Excel to create spreadsheets and reports
• Manage the payroll system and handle payroll processing
• Conduct account reconciliation tasks to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance• Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial reports
• Adhere to legal standards, maintaining confidentiality and professionalism
Requirements
Must have a minimum of an Associate's degree in Accounting or Finance. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• QuickBooks experience a MUST
• Experience with basic accounting procedure such as invoicing, ledgers accounts, reconciliation
• Must have basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word required. Powerpoint a plus.
