Job description

Essential Functions & Key Areas of Responsibility
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff.
• Assist in Prologue account maintenance and reporting.
• Oversee the Accounts Payable Team and review payment of payables, vendor file maintenance, yearend reporting.
• Supervise daily accounting functions, including maintaining and monitoring accruals, prepaids, bank
payables and receivables, and general ledger reconciliation efforts.
• Oversee general ledger account reconciliations for internal control precision.
• Monitor implementation and follow-through of departmental audit activities.
• Perform technical accounting research and supporting documentation for conclusions.
• Assist with audit and examination preparation efforts.
• Accurately prepare and submit required reportsin a timely manner.
• Assist with interpreting and implementing changesin regulatory expectations.
• Prepare, monitor, and analyze financial reports.
• Prepare and review information for Board and ALCO.
• Assist in creation and documentation of budget projections.
• Assist with maintaining holding company records and transactions.
• Assist with maintaining subsidiary company records and transactions.
• Assist with completion of intercompany records and transactions.
• Prepare the Statement of Cash Flows.
• Call Report Co-Lead.
• Allocation oversight.
• Assist with Property Taxes as a backup.
• Assist in other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
4-year college degree and at least 4-6 years'
experience in accounting/finance profession or
regulatory environmentspecific to banking, bank
examining, auditing or financial statement
preparation - or equivalent combination of
education & experience

practical accounting
Knowledge of processes and regulations governing
accounting in financial institutions
