The ideal candidate will have experience setting, achieving, and exceeding business performance targets. They will consistently strive to achieve goals, even in the face of obstacles, and will proactively develop contingency plans to ensure goals are met. They will be energized by working toward tangible goals and actively seek opportunities to enhance the status quo, aiming to exceed targets.</div><div class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Set the Standard:</strong> This role has overall responsibility for achievement of Operations Excellence standards in their department. The candidate must be able to travel for meetings, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), benchmarking, etc., with an average of 10-15% of their time allocated for this purpose. They will have knowledge of safety and environmental-related concepts, including compliance with State, Federal, and Local regulations. </div><div class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Driving our Culture: </strong>Our GB values and culture are what make our company different. The ideal candidate will have the ability to establish a strategic vision and effectively communicate it to the team. They will lead through floor communication, engaging with the associates and generating buy-in for change initiatives. They will ensure the adoption of lean tools, process capability, and operational discipline, creating a culture of continuous improvement and driving long-term success.</div><div class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Developing our Talent: </strong>While driving accountability for results, be supportive and effective at developing individuals to assume greater levels of responsibility and personal contribution. The ideal candidate will have the ability to support the continuous improvement of a world-class bakery through coaching Team Leaders and Associates. They will prioritize talent development and provide guidance to individuals, enabling them to grow, assume greater responsibilities, and make meaningful contributions to the organization's success.</div><div class="ql-align-justify"><br></div><div class="ql-align-justify"><strong>Education and Work History:</strong></div><ul><li class="ql-align-justify"><span>Five or more years of hands-on management experience in maintenance</span></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><span>Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or related field preferred. HS Diploma/GED required</span></li><li class="ql-align-justify">A combination of education, training and experience that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work <strong>may</strong> be substituted </li><li class="ql-align-justify"><span>AIB certification preferred</span></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><span>Operational background in electrical circuitry, refrigeration, fuel-burning equipment, and machine mechanics</span></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><span>Possess conceptual knowledge of PLC programming; PLC programming experience preferred, ideal candidate will have PLC programming proficiency </span></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><span>Possess conceptual knowledge on Predictive Maintenance techniques </span></li><li class="ql-align-justify"><span>Must be familiar with lean tools or a similar statistical process and control system</span></li></ul><div class="ql-align-justify"><br></div><div class="ql-align-justify"><span>The physical and mental demands described in each job posting are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of each job.
