As a Mental Health Therapist at our clinic, your primary duties will encompass:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments for individuals and families to develop tailored therapy plans that address specific mental health needs.
• Facilitating group therapy sessions according to established schedules, encouraging shared experiences and healing among participants.
• Building and nurturing therapeutic relationships with patients, practicing sensitivity and ensuring healthy professional boundaries.
• Demonstrating cultural competence in the delivery of care, accommodating patients from various backgrounds and those experiencing a range of DSM diagnoses.
• Utilizing psychosocial assessments and evidence-based methodologies to create and implement effective treatment plans.
• Maintaining detailed documentation of all therapy sessions, treatment plans, and patient progress in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Completing daily charge sheets to track patient attendance and care metrics.
• Participating actively in weekly treatment planning meetings, providing updates on patient status, and contributing to the aligned care strategies.
• Assisting in the creation of Discharge Aftercare Plans to ensure continuity of care post-therapy.
• Coordinating care with other health professionals as appropriate.
• Engaging in continual professional development through seminars, workshops, and networking in the field.

Our patient population encompasses a wide range of demographics, including children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. Your role will specifically involve addressing not only the psychological aspects of their conditions but also the physical and cultural needs that may affect their mental health outcomes. The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A valid, unrestricted license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the State of Nevada.
• A Master’s degree in Social Work or a related mental health field, equipping you with the theoretical knowledge and practical skills necessary for effective therapy delivery.

While not required, preference will be given to candidates with:

• Previous experience in community mental health settings, demonstrating familiarity with diverse patient backgrounds.
• Specialized training or certifications in trauma-informed care or other relevant therapeutic modalities.
• A history of working in a remote environment with proficiency in teletherapy methods.
