Your role at BHSN:

You will assist the accounting department as an Accounts Receivable and Credentialing Specialist at BHSN.  This position works within accounts payable, accounts receivable, purchasing and other financial functions.

Your Schedule: Part time, Flexible, Monday - Friday 20-29 hours between the hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm

What your day might look like:

  • Provide support to the Revenue Cycle Department by coordinating initial applications and renewal credential applications for licensed providers with; Medicaid, Medicare, Medicaid Managed Care Companies, Commercial Insurance, and CAQH applications. 
  • Credentialing new sites with various payors: including adding new sites to existing contracts
  • Ensure all providers, in coordination with providers, are properly registered with all payors to provide services.
  • Assist in streamlining the accounts receivable/credentialing process by identifying areas for performance improvement  
  • Maintain accounts receivable records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollectible amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared; as Directed by the Director of Revenue Cycle 

Your skills and qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED required  
  • Associate's degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred  
  • Highly Detail Oriented and ability to manage time appropriately 

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office and the ability to independently build spreadsheets for tracking purposes
