Position Summary

We are seeking a strategic and relationship-driven Key Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of high-value customer accounts. This role is responsible for building long-term partnerships, identifying opportunities for business growth, and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will develop strategic account plans, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts. Success in this role requires strong communication skills, business acumen, and the ability to identify opportunities that drive revenue growth and strengthen customer relationships.


Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Account Management
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key decision-makers within assigned accounts.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer communications and account management.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans aligned with customer business objectives.
  • Lead regular business review meetings to discuss performance, opportunities, and future initiatives.
  • Collaborate with leadership on contract negotiations, pricing strategies, and service agreements.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
  • Meet or exceed established sales goals and revenue targets.
  • Identify opportunities to expand product and service utilization within existing accounts.
  • Develop strategies to increase account penetration and overall share of business.
  • Partner with customers to identify new products, services, and business opportunities.
  • Create business plans that support customer growth while maximizing profitability.
Customer Success
  • Utilize CRM systems, reporting tools, and analytics to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Monitor account performance and provide recommendations that improve business outcomes.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive communication and follow-up.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Work closely with internal teams including Sales, Operations, Marketing, Customer Service, and Product Management to deliver effective customer solutions.
  • Coordinate resources to resolve customer concerns quickly and effectively.
  • Act as the voice of the customer by communicating feedback and business needs internally.
Market Intelligence
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitive activity, and customer developments.
  • Gather customer feedback to support future product and service improvements.
  • Identify emerging market opportunities and recommend strategies for continued growth.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in Key Account Management, Strategic Sales, Business Development, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Proven success managing and growing strategic customer relationships in a B2B environment.
  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience using CRM platforms and reporting tools to manage customer relationships and drive decisions.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders across multiple organizational levels.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.

Work Environment
  • Primarily office or remote-based with regular use of a computer and virtual communication platforms.
  • Travel to customer locations, meetings, and industry events as needed.
